With your help, we can make the Civil Nuclear Constabulary even more effective
The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that’s dedicated to the nuclear industry. Our vision is to be recognised as a provider of a world-class service for the protection of nuclear material and facilities. Given the critical nature of our work, it’s vital that we recruit skilled and committed professionals to our high-performing team. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be an integral part of CNC, helping senior leaders handle organisational change.
We’re determined to make CNC the best it can be so we can keep the UK’s nuclear industry safe. That means building our team and its capabilities. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll join our senior management team in a pivotal role, where you’ll identify HR issues and provide strategic advice.
It’s an interesting, multi-faceted post where you’ll have a unique insight into our organisation. Through strong relationships with leaders, you’ll challenge their management of HR issues and make recommendations. You’ll also coach line managers to apply policies consistently and correctly, and provide business partnering at the highest level. It’s an opportunity to offer guidance and project management for all kinds of corporate and regional initiatives, from retention and resourcing to employee relations.
With sound experience in an HR advisory role, you’ll be used to working with senior managers as well as wider teams. You use natural communication skills to connect and give guidance, drawing on broad knowledge of HR including employment law. Ideally, you’ll be CIPD qualified or have a relevant degree. You’ll certainly be adept at writing reports and managing projects. Proactive, analytical and able to influence, you’ll be driven to make sure CNC performs at its very best.
