Job Details
A leading independent law firm based in Central London are recruiting for an HR Officer to join their team. Reporting into the HR Director, you will be responsible for:
- Induction of new joiners
- Conducting inductions for relevant client group new joiners
- Spearheading any early difficulties or concerns in relation to the new joiner, liaising with relevant Line Manager or HR Management team member as required
- Employee Correspondence
- Producing letters and memos to employees as required
- Attending employee relations meetings
- Drafting scripts in preparation for employee relations meetings
- Family leave process and guidance
- Coordinating family leave process
- Preparing pre and post family leave paperwork
- Employee absence management and wellbeing
- Monitoring on a monthly basis client group absence levels, analyzing trends, highlighting issues and concerns and making recommendations to HR Management team
- Managing referral process to Occupational Health Advisers
- Leaver process
- Preparing leaver letters
- Arranging and conducting face to face exit interviews and working on actions with Management
- Benefits, Salary and Bonus review
- Departmental Secretarial Managers
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships and coordinating with other HR Officer regular meetings
- Corporate Responsibility Committee
- Acting as primary HR representative at committee meetings and taking forward any related actions from each meeting
- Policies, Projects and Other Duties
- Supporting annual HR budgeting exercise as required by the HR Director
- Reviewing efficiency and usability of HR intranet and making recommendations for enhancements
- HR team support
As HR Officer, you will possess:
- Previous experience operating at HR Officer or Senior HR Assistant experience
- Previous experience in a legal or Professional Services HR team
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong education
