My client is a market leader their field and Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnering with them on a new HR Manager role. Working with an established team at their office in Nottingham you will be responsible for the full range of HR and organisational effectiveness including talent management, Employee Relations, people development, benefits and administration.
You will be a proactive HR professional who is able to build strong relationships with your client group and key stakeholders thus ensuring a deep understanding of the key business areas and any cultural changes needed across the organisation. You will work in partnership with business leaders and provide coaching and mentoring in order to empower them to effectively manage and develop their staff.
Working closely with the HR Administrator you will ensure the best talent is attracted and selected, all the time focusing on retaining and engaging the talent to ensure retention and succession planning. Our client is planning considerable growth so this is going to be a key area.
In terms of Employee Relations you will need to be comfortable working with management to resolve any disciplinary issues, and perform investigations into any operational issues. It will be your responsibility to deal with any workplace conflict and use effective mediation techniques. Alongside this you will work with your managers to identify performance issues including work-flow efficiencies and effectiveness, the cause and job design. You will be at ease with developing performance initiatives using difference methods such as coaching and training, and then ensuring that the performance management process is applied and used effectively.
It will be your responsibility to identify training needs, skill shortages at a functional level and recommend, develop, schedule and deliver training and development courses. Part of your role will be identifying OD issues; this will be both team and individual issues. You will need to ensure employee engagement practices are in place and use these to monitor company culture.

·You must have an excellent working knowledge of UK employment law.
·Proven experience of working in a partnering capacity.
·You will need to have a proven background in change management.
·A strong background in coaching and mentoring managers.
·Good Recruitment and Talent experience.
