My client a leading FMCG business are recruiting for a Training Manager to support across 3 of their sites, based in West London. You will be tasked with developing internal training programmes covering both mandatory training needs and development needs. They are looking for an experience trainer who process solid technical aptitude with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way and be able to contribute or lead the development of appropriate e-learning solutions. Key responsibilities Input into the induction programme for new starters, ensuring an effective introduction to the business and that Managers and the HR team are aware of requirements and their responsibilitiesTo ensure employees are release and covered for during planned training activity with support from departmental managersTo evaluate department trainingInput to the Annual Training Plan, ensuring that the appropriate refresher training and proactive interventions are planned for the yearDesign and develop learning interventions according to organisational requirementsDevelop appropriate training materials, sometime bespoke, including agendas and training schedules to meet those requirementsTo regularly attend meetings with other Training Officers as required at other sitesEnsure that materials are updated and refreshed as procedures, priorities and business needs changeSchedule and run (either personally or via another employee or provider) refresher course across the business within the required timeframeTo act as Training Champion and be the main point of contact for all training activity on siteTo ensure effective procedures are in place for all key operationally aligned activities and ensure all employees and workers are adequately trainedTo keep training matrices and records up to date in preparation for audits The ideal candidate Previous experience of delivering Training in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment idealProven experience and knowledge of modern training techniques and toolsExperience in designing course content, including that of a technical natureAbility to address training needs with complete course
