We think that this business is a bit special…

Hopefully the title of this advert got your attention. We like to make bold statements, but more importantly, we like to back them up with a compelling story. There are a number of reasons to join this well-known business, but perhaps the biggest draw is the fact that you will get to work with some genuinely nice people that really love what they do. The fact that this employer will be a great brand to add to the CV is an added bonus, you will be working in a role where you will be able to transform how things are done. You will also be working in an environment where HR is really valued by the business and where there is a real appetite for continual improvement.

What will be keeping you busy?

This is not just a recruitment role where you will be focused on getting bums on seats. They are after someone that truly understands what best practice looks like in a genuine talent acquisition role. Not only will you ensure that they have effective recruitment processes in place, you will help the business to create a first-class candidate experience and develop new and creative ways of attracting the best people into the organisation.

The business is a brilliant place to work and they want someone who can help them shout about it and improve their employer brand. To this end they are looking for people that can really sell the business effectively to candidates.

You will also look at sourcing talent internally and finding a way to help people transition into new roles. The business has done work around identifying their high potential/high performers in the business. They want someone to take a lead on ensuring these people are given good opportunities in the business and you will also work closely with Directors to identify performance issues and potential future gaps. This will all link into work around workforce planning and making sure that you have good talent coming through.

Who are we looking for?

We would not rule out someone with an agency background but it would probably be beneficial to see a reasonable amount of in-house experience alongside this. It actually might help if you have previously worked in agency, purely to have experience of the pace that you will need to work at. Above all, we are looking for someone that is truly passionate about talent acquisition and will come with a lot of fresh ideas and an ability to engage with key stakeholders. If there are things that you can identify need fixing, they encourage people to make improvements.

You will be recruiting roles at £50k and above but you do not need to have hired specific skill-sets. They can teach you all you need to know to hire into key verticals.

You will have a certain degree of gravitas and should be able to demonstrate a truly holistic approach to talent acquisition where you have created great value and return on investment for your previous employers.

If you are professional but also good humoured in your approach to work then you will fit right in with a fantastic team.

What else can we tell you about this business?

Lots. Why not send us your CV and we can tell you more about them.

Company

Fetch Recruitment was set up by Yasmin Elezaj and Tommy Gale in 2017.  After years of working in and managing successful recruitment businesses, they decided to go into business together and have created an expert team.

Both with young families and very similar values in and out of work, they realised that they could offer excellent service to clients that were looking for a different approach to recruitment.

As such, Fetch is a very family oriented business.  We believe that if our recruiters have a good work-life balance, this will reflect in the service that they deliver for clients. This plays out in the quality of service that we provide.

Our team are not chained to their desks with their phone times being monitored. They are trusted to do what they are good at and because of this they go over and above. They all work from home and this means that we have good coverage across the UK as our team are spread out.

We created a commercial proposition that allows us to offer a far superior level of service to clients for much lower fees than our competitors. Everything that we do is about providing exceptional value and we think that we do this really well.
