Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Barnoldswick, Lancashire and homebased
Job Type: Part Time Permanent - 3 days
My client a leading health care provider is looking to recruit an occupational health advisor on a part time permanent basis 3 days a week in Barnoldswick, Lancashire (Near Burnley. 1-2 days based at Barnoldswick and 1 day working from home. Working as part of an occupational health team the OHA will:-
- Mainly conducting face to face and telephone consultations, but will also be required to engage with HR on site, meeting for a monthly absence meeting and assist in the education of managers.
- HAVS certificate preferred, or prepared to be HAVs trained. 
- Experience in respiratory, skin and audiometry required, although health surveillance other than HAVs is minimal due to technician as part of the team
To apply you will be a registered nurse with occupational health experience holding a Degree/Diploma (level flexible) in occupational health and:-
- Experience of working in a variety of OH environments
- Professional, open, flexible, approach with excellent communication and diary/time management skills
- Excellent report writing
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 pro rata for part-time
