VP of HR Operations for a global organisation based in Gatwick.

Your new company
Our blue chip company and recruiting for a VP HR Operations for their growing team in Gatwick. Located just off of the M23, for our international client, you will be based in their modern state of the art offices based just outside of the South Terminal.

Your new role
As a VP of HR Operations in Gatwick you will understand the strategic plan of both the business and HR and align the HR activities to support that strategy. Develop and implement HRM solutions that meet the needs to the business, whilst seeking to continuously improve upon already established processes and procedures. To support and facilitate the development of line managers, as people managers, as people managers of the future. To support the business through periods of change and drive a Centre of Excellence approach to all HR Activities.

You will be line managing 10-12 direct reports (managers and business partners) and supporting them and developing with transactional responsibilities with heavy operational tasks. You will be supporting manager with the implementation of Organisational Development for the Gatwick team.

As part of the role, you will be required to travel to locations where other HR managers are based such as Spain, France, Italy and other European countries.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you must have at least 5 years of experience working within HR at a senior management level. You must be commercially aware with strong communication skills, and techniques in employee engagement and Organisational Development. You will also need to have experience of dealing with trade unions, working within a global organisation and have a strong operational background.

What you'll get in return
