Artis HR are currently supporting an exciting retail business with the recruitment of a Regional HR Business partner, this is a full time permanent post paying £45-50,000pa + company car / allowance. This role is covering the South East region which has 40 stores.

Role Purpose:

To ensure we have the capability, capacity and culture where our colleagues and customer experience is the focus of our leaders. You will partner with Directors and Managers and help to shape and implement People Plans for their business functions which align to our People Vision and business objectives.


Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Coach leaders to deliver improved business performance and the engagement and wellbeing of their people. Ensure they are role modelling the values.

Review the people health of assigned functions and ensure plans are in place to address any concerns e.g. vacancies, quality of hires, talent pipeline, development needs, wellbeing themes.

Work with the Senior HRBP's and CofE's to deliver the People Calendar and any projects which support the delivery of the Functional or HR People Plan, or specific functional requirements.

Drive the performance and talent agenda within allocated regions/functions, ensuring leaders build robust succession plans and development plans for HiPo's. Ensure plans are in place to tackle poor performance.

Ensure leaders are proactively addressing any performance or wellbeing concerns through the utilisation of our ER service and online support tools.

Support the SHRBP's in implementing organisational changes by coaching and upskilling leaders to implement change, ensuring changes are embedded and sustained.

Required Skills & Experience:

?Ability to quickly build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders as well as the people function, will determine your success in this role. This will require strong influencing skills and the ability to apply sound professional judgement.
?Strong prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to exercise appropriate autonomy.
?Able to demonstrate experience of driving a performance culture.
?A confident coach and mentor, you will be adept at upskilling managers to manage their people.
?You will have basic OD skills from delivering previous change initiatives and be confident in delivering and embedding change in an organisation, including TUPE.
?Experience of leading successful projects which deliver improvements for colleagues.
?Curious and questioning, you will ensure data is accurate and be happy to analyse and interpret data to inform decisions.
?Commercial in approach with a good understanding of business and the commercial impact of people initiatives.


Essential Technical / Professional Qualifications (if required):

?CIPD qualified or equivalent, you will have a strong grasp of best practice in HR and solid understanding of employment current legislation.
?A minimum of 5 years generalist experience is essential, ideally from a fast-paced Retail or Commercial environment.
