Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a leading organisation in their search for an experienced HR Advisor to join their existing team.

About the role
The HR Adviser supports the delivery of an effective, efficient and customer-focused HR service to a defined portfolio of organisations, in line with agreed standards and timescales.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the main responsibilities are to provide advice and guidance to managers and staff, addressing HR queries and working proactively to provide operational and administrative support on all aspects of HR.

The main duties of the post are as follows:

·To provide day to day administration and advice on HR policy and procedures.
·To provide support and guidance on disciplinary, grievance and capability cases.
·To lead on recruitment for School/Professional Services
·Contributing to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices

About you
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience -

·Experience of working in a generalist HR advisory role in a complex organisation
·Practical experience of employee relations, change and performance management
·Practical experience of recruitment and selection techniques, and administering the employee life-cycle from beginning to end
·Operational use of HR systems (SAP experience is particularly desirable)
·Contribution to HR projects and initiatives aligned to HR strategy
·Experience of delivering a high quality customer-focused service.
