Learning and Development Manager
A well known organisation are looking for a well-rounded and experienced Learning and Development Manager join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
This role is brand new role with lots of scope. You will be expected to set up an L&D function from scratch
This is to join a proactive environment, where you will report directly into a Head of Human Resources
*You will help to create and build a learning, development and continuous improvement culture
*You will lead the design and delivery of learning projects and programmes to ensure workforce is skilled and equipped to deliver our current and future needs.
*You will be the go-to L&D expert and will help to instil the importance of L&D and create a learning culture in the business.
*Work in close partnership with managers and directors across the organisation to understand the development needs for all employees and proactively deliver a schedule of innovative learning solutions to support these needs.
*Benchmark current skills requirement, identify strengths, areas of risk and develop an understanding of the skill we need now, and will need in the future
*Work across the business to develop and understanding of the professional qualifications / mandatory qualifications required for our staff
*Develop and coordinate our L&D Forum, ensure staff are engaged and involved with L&D initiatives
*Design and deliver core internal training including the corporate induction, utilising the support of our HR colleagues or external providers where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
*Degree educated or equivalent relevant experience
*Experience delivering training and learning interventions
*Previous experience of training design and development
*Experience Management, development and talent training
*CIPD (or equivalent) qualification
*Relevant training qualification; e.g. OD or L&D further education and or professional qualifications
