An insurance firm in the city are looking to hire a new permanent HRIS and Data Analytics Manager.

The HRIS and Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for the set-up and maintenance of the HRIS along with the reporting and auditing of HR data. The job holder will provide accurate management reporting and analyse of all HR MI data. Works closely with internal HR customers to facilitate and manage systems and reporting needs to support the development of employee self-services systems.

Some of the key responsibilities are listed below:

HR Data Analytics:

  • Develops 'Manager Information Dashboard' and HR Scorecards tool enabling the automation of reporting, data analytics and trends; to include although not limited to, Human Capital ROI, compensation cost growth/ headcount growth v's business financial growth, absenteeism, turnover, engagement, resourcing, compliance to process etc.
  • Maintain and generate monthly/quarterly HR data analytics and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Understand the business concepts and formulas. i.e. payroll, profit, revenue etc. to generate financial information to support productivity data analytics and a variety of human capital costs v's financial performance trends / forecasting

HRIS:

  • Serves as the initial point-of-contact for technical HRIS issues
  • Lead with testing and implementing of HRIS system upgrades, resolve system issues, maintain the HRIS system tables and performs scheduled activities
  • Translate intricate business objectives and processes into technical solutions for the HR department and integrates findings into other data driven departments, e.g. finance
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation around HRIS system for employees. Including the training of all users
  • Performs periodic audits on internal and external system controls and processes
  • Maintaining and generate monthly HR and Management reports, Visio Org charts and ad-hoc reporting
  • Provide support for all questions, troubleshooting and maintenance and ensure communication to users.
