Interim HR Director
Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with a leading charity who are looking to appoint an Interim HR Director to join their team on a 12 month FTC basis. Reporting into the Director for Finance & Resource you will be responsible for the delivery of an effective operational HR service which meets the needs of Directors and Managers. You will ensure the team is aligned to meeting the People objectives aligned to the business strategy. You will have a team of 5 and will need to be able to start at short notice. Main responsibilitiesInput to and support major change initiatives such as organisation re-structuring, changes in working practices, etc.Be responsible for the overall employee relations frameworkWorking with the Resourcing Manager, ensure that the recruitment and selection processes are up-to-date and aligned to attracting and selecting the right peopleHold overall accountability for ensuring that the people policies and practices are consistent with employment lawEnsure that staff are paid in accordance with their terms and conditions of employment, including having overall responsibility for managing the contract with the external payroll bureau.Ensure that the Human Resources systems and database are fit for purpose and support the delivery of an efficient Human Resources service.Be responsible for managing the Human Resources Operational budget and the organisational-wide Learning and Development budget.Ensure that an up-to-date annual operational plan and risk register for the department is maintained. To be successful for this position you should have demonstrable senior leadership and senior generalist HR experience gained within an organisation going through change. You should have a broad, extensive HR background including change management, organisational and management development, talent and performance management, reward, and employee relations and learning and development.
