Job Details


To provide comprehensive support to the HR departments and employees. Including, but not limited to recruitment and selection, absence management, maintenance of the HR system including electronic employee records and general HR administration.

Description

  • Maintain complete confidentiality at all times.
  • Respond to general HR queries from employees, managers and wider HR teams.
  • Taking personal ownership for resolving issues, but escalating where appropriate.
  • Provide administrative support for the full Recruitment cycle, including referencing and on -boarding.
  • Ensure all data is accurately input to HR System in time for payroll run each month.
  • Experienced in dealing with a monthly transactional service, including first level payroll queries.
  • Carry out audits, as and when required, to ensure HR System is always up to date and that controls framework are adhered to.
  • Ensure all HR processes are followed accurately and timely, in line with Service Specification.
  • Provide support to the business at "super - user" level for the HR and payroll modules of the ERP system.
  • Weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on key HR metrics.

Profile

* Certificate in Personal Practice or similar, would be desirable.
* Good educational background, good standard of written and spoken English essential.
* Computer literate, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, as well as experience using an ERP system.
* Numerate, able to manipulate, analyse and present data, to provide meaningful management information.
* Expert Excel user with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work flexibly on both routine and more complex tasks.
* Ability to prioritise own workload and deal with conflicting priorities.
* Ability to communicate effectively, with a clear and concise language verbally and with written correspondence.
* Ability to listen carefully and respond appropriately to customer queries.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and proactive in offering assistance to colleagues.
* Keen to look for ways to continually improve the HR processes and play an active role in improving the service to the business.
