As a HR Advisor you will provide an excellent, professional field-based HR advisory service to line managers requiring advice, support, guidance and training on people management issues in order to maximise the effectiveness of our human resource, where appropriate, referring queries back to the HR Helpline or HR Business Partner where appropriate.

Description

our main responsibilities will be to provide guidance and practical expertise to line managers on policy related issues to ensure the best performance of both their team as a whole and the individuals within it, including providing professional advice and support in disciplinaries, grievances, appeals, sickness and performance management issues ensuring that all case details are recorded on the correct system to ensure colleagues are kept up to date at all times.

You will also support the HRBP in the collation and analysis of HR information, including the monitoring of HR activity against key performance metrics, to ensure that HR is clearly 'adding value' to the business. Identify any trends, take necessary action and feedback where appropriate. As part of your role you will ensure the HRBP and Line Managers are fully supported with issues around organisational change and development, such as reorganisation, mobilisation/de-mobilisation, acquisitions and disposals, including ensuring 'due diligence' and effective communication.

Another key responsibility will be to actively contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aimed at improving people management and business performance, ensuring compliance to G4S FM policies and procedures at all times.

Other key duties will include undertaking employee consultations as part of TUPE/reorganisation and managing the formal (and informal) relationship with recognised trade unions producing data where appropriate. You will also provide support and coaching to Managers in 1-2-1's, managing letter production and highlighting issues with a strategic, legal or employee relations impact to the Relevant HR Business Partner.

Profile

HR Advisor

To be successful for this role, it is essential that you have proven knowledge and experience in Agenda for Change and Retention of Employment.

You will be CIPD qualified and have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work on own initiative building and developing quality professional relationships
