As a Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager, you will partner with the site SLT and SMT to deliver the overarching organisational people strategy that is fit for purpose for specific client groups.

Description

Reporting into a HR Business Partner, this Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager role, will be a operationally aligned HR professional (within your business area) who leads on delivering the overarching organisational people strategy with a value-add and commercially astute service. You will be the key interface with key internal stakeholders.

This business area will consist of Group / Corporate and Commercial functions. As a part of this remit you will be supporting a collective of directors and managers. You will have a focus on managing the ER, Talent and Engagement agenda as well as support the management of the Trade Union relationship.

You will also be a natural and engaging communicator who will look to engage, develop and maintain key relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Your main base will be in the Oldham area with coverage of another site in the North West. Travel will likely be 1 to 2 days per week.

Profile

As a Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager, you will be confident and assertive - with an outgoing personality and an informal, yet professional style. You must be able to communicate effectively to all areas of the business; grassroots to leadership.

Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus the business, you will be a natural business advisor to the leadership team. As a Senior HR Advisor / HR Manager, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.

You will be equipped with an astute toolkit which will enable you to manage projects within a generalist advisory role; ER, Talent and Engagement etc. - ideally with a passion and flair for Management Development and Culture change

You must have experience within a fast-paced, dynamic and unionised Manufacturing or FMCG environment.

This is a fantastic role for someone who is looking to consolidate and develop their HR skills.

Job Offer

This role will pay £38,000 to 40,000 per annum (dependent on experience). You will also receive access to a pool car and a suite of benefits.
