I am working with a leading FMCG company based in West London who are looking for a permanent HR Officer to join them as soon as possible.The HR Officer will be working closely with the Line Managers covering employment law, employee relations, resourcing, employee development and performance management as well as being the first line of support for all Head Office queries.The role includes but is not limited to:To work closely with Line Managers in matters of employment law, employee relations, resourcing, staff development and performance management to foster a spirit within the Business Unit which delivers the Peoples PlanTo understand Group and Site HR objectives and initiatives, and ensure that the day to day HR activities support themBe involved in the development of the Business Unit HR People Plan through everyday activitiesTo provide support, coaching and training to Line Managers in areas such as Recruitment and Selection, Disciplinary, Grievance and Conflict Handling, Communications, Absence ManagementWork with Line Managers to identify and then satisfy key and common Training and Development needs up to and including Middle Managers through Performance Appraisals and PDP'sTo support the sharing of Best Practice and to facilitate smarter working through taking an active role in the Monthly HR MeetingsTo proactively resource all vacancies in line with the Recruitment policy up to and including Middle Managers Ideally you will be an experienced HR Generalist with strong knowledge around Employment Law and Employee Relations. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks at once.
