This People Advisor role is an exciting opportunity for an existing HR Advisor or very strong HR Administrator to join a rapidly growing company based in Greenford (UB6).

This role of the People Advisor acts as an operational and transactional support link between the Head of People and Line Managers/colleagues.

Due to the demographic of a high percentage of the work force, this candidate MUST be able to speak fluent Polish.

Client Details

This retail company is privately owned, successful and profitable and have already grown their work force by 40% in the last 2 years and have no intention of slowing down anytime soon!

Due to this growth, there are progression prospects further down the line.

Description

A key responsibility of this People Advisor will be to support a core part of the delivery of excellent services and processes to the business.

Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Payroll Administration: ADP Payroll process management/experience

Data Quality & Reporting: Maintaining data quality performance for your designated constituencies

Time and Attendance Management: Support and advice to line managers on managing attendance and long term sickness care management

ER Case Handling: Have a thorough understanding of HR law in particularly relating to contracts, terms and conditions, discrimination, family friendly, dismissal processes, grievances, etc.

Recruitment: Screen CVs and complete first stage interviews for professional and support staff as required

Administration: Provision of administrative and co-ordination support to facilitating the relationship with site trade unions. e.g. minutes of local meetings, data capture and recording.

Relationships: maintaining a strong working collaboration with other UK-based supporting departments including Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Design

Profile

The successful candidate for this People Advisor role based in Greenford must speak fluent Polish and have an HR background.

Other criteria include:

The ability to cope under pressure

Can work proactively and independently

Experience of absence management and applying policies.

The flexibility to work outside normal office hours as may be required from time-to-time

Excellent at letter writing.

Up to date knowledge of employment law (including GDPR)

Proactive and confident with the ability to build strong relationships through effective communication

Excellent attention to detail

DESIRABLE

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Fully/Part CIPD qualified
