Introduction

We are seeking a commercial, passionate and enthusiastic Head of HR to join a growing business within the Retail & Beauty industry. Values are at the heart of everything they do, and it is a fast paced and entrepreneurial business. The successful HR professional will be responsible for circa 250 people who will be responsible for the implementation of all HR solutions and processes across UK & Europe. You will need to steer the business through change and deliver creative solutions that will support and enable the ambitious growth objectives. Culture is key and the HR professional will be responsible for building employer brand. You will manage a team of 3 within this role.

Job responsibilities

  • Enable and champion a culture that fully aligns with the core values where employees are brand ambassadors for the business

  • Provide leadership and implement assessment, selection, onboarding processes to support all recruitment for all levels in the business

  • Attract, retain and develop talent for the group

  • Technical strength in performance management, talent development and reward

  • Develop policy and practises for the European team - employment and service agreements

  • Organisational design - provide advice as the business continues to grow and manage positive change within the business

Criteria

We are looking for a high energy and results driven Head of HR to join this creative, commercial and passionate business. You will need to drive results, demonstrate an ability to motivate peers and direct reports and take ownership of developing the people plan across Europe. The HR professional will need to have the following:

  • Excellent generalist knowledge

  • Hands-on Pan European Experience

  • Experienced at implementing employee processes across an organisation

  • Ability to coach, nurture and develop teams

  • Individual will need to love a challenge and working collaboratively
