Salary of c. £55,000 to £60,000 per annum plus bonus & benefits

Network HR are delighted to be working alongside a highly reputable and well regarded Insurance business who, due to constant evolution, is now seeking an experienced Talent professional (brand new role).

JOB PURPOSE

The post-holder will become the business's subject matter expert when it comes to performance, development and engagement work and will be responsible for designing and becoming the ‘programme manager' for a range of Talent Management frameworks during a period of change and transformation (i.e. a move from a traditional to a more blending learning approach) – these will included:

* Quarterly performance framework and conversations
* Identification & assessment of employee performance for promotions, development programmes and succession planning etc.
* Middle management & leadership career paths & development, including the design & delivery of a programme for ‘high potential' employees
* Coaching and mentoring the management population successfully

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Hold responsibility for developing, consulting, advising, & managing talent management frameworks and tools for the whole business, across UK & EMEA
* Complete Talent Management related tasks during a period of change & transformation for the business, including ensuring a successful shift from non-monetary bonus related performance appraisals to a company-wide performance approach i.e. link talent practices to wider company & reward objectives
* Identify high potential performers within the business, using your skillset to coach & mentor these individuals. Also manage high potential talent programmes for graduates, rising talents and line managers, as well as potential future programmes for entry of talent through apprentices
* Work closely with colleagues across HR, D&I and Internal Communications to ensure all talent related changes are communicated properly to the wider business
* Utilise psychometric testing to identify both external and internal talent & subsequent development opportunities
* Ensure talent management strategies and programmes are aligned to regulatory and risk management requirements
* Proactively stay up to date with the latest thinking, methods and approaches to talent management, to support a diverse and multi-generational workforce
* Vendor management - contract negotiation, preparation and execution, ensuring all providers are working within terms
* Become the subject matter expert for Workday Talent & Performance configuration and enhancements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Current experience working as a Talent professional in either an Advisor, Business Partner or Consultant level position
* Prior knowledge of working in either a forward-thinking Financial Services business or an innovative industry such as Fintech, Research, Pharmaceuticals etc. (Public or Third sector experience will NOT be suitable).
* Demonstrable experience of being a hands-on Talent Management practitioner i.e. this vacancy will not suit someone operating at Manager level or higher
* Prior knowledge of working on talent management initiatives during periods of change and transformation
* Ability to offer innovative solutions re. increasing performance levels (not purely linked to monetary bonuses)
* Strong communication style (both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers i.e. vendor management) with excellent coaching & mentoring skills
* Equally strong system skills – i.e. prior knowledge of using a HR system / LMS
