This organisation are a national training provider who provide external services to other businesses, but also have their own portfolio of apprentice's within their organisation. Due to recent growth they are looking for a new permanent member of the team to support with the delivery of these apprenticeship programmes.
Your new role
The role is home based with travel across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding counties.
As a Training and Assessment Officer, you will be responsible for delivering full Apprenticeship Standards & Frameworks at level 2 & 3 in Management, Team Leader/Supervisor, Business Administration and Customer Service. This will include the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths, English and ICT where appropriate).
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners, closely monitoring their performance and completing timely reviews. You will be required to visit them in the workplace and provide remote support and tutor them in their Apprenticeship standards and frameworks.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates will ideally:
- Have experience of Assessor/Training and Assessment Officer in Management, Team Leader/Supervisor, Business Administration and Customer Service.
- Experience of assessing vocational qualifications in the sector subject area;
- Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and standards
- Assessor Qualified, A1, TAQA or D32, D33, CAVA
- Be able to work independently and use own initiative
