IT Director- Business Process and Technology

Main Purpose of the role

The director of Business Process and Technology is the lead IT position in the UK, responsible for leading a team of Business Relationship Managers, Project Manager and Technology Professionals, and external vendors. The individual will provide strategic and operational direction on the Company's Processes and Business applications & Technology initiatives in support of Business Goals, with a major focus on project delivery, communication, and coordination with the business leaders and Global IT

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Change management and Tech Adoption- Assist UK organisation improvement initiatives regardless of tech implications. Focus on customer experience, operational efficiency and reg compliance
  • Comms across the organisation- This may involve process flows and workshops, interviews and facilitation, roles and responsibilities, KPI's as well as applications and integrations
  • Delivery- Overseeing and ensuring the execution of all phases of the project lifecycle approved within UK Scope
  • Advise- Business leaders on tech options and implications on strategic goals and objectives
  • Demand Management- Focus on adding value to the business, collaborate with managers and decision makers to develop and prioritise the UK project portfolio to improve KPI's as identified to the business
  • Global IT improvements
  • IT Services Management

Experience:

  • 5 plus years in a similar position
  • Experience of working internationally would be nice
  • Experience in SAP implementation or enhancement projects
  • Used to working with distributed teams
  • Used to working in a matrix organisation

Skills:

  • Ability to prioritise and manage numerous initiatives and issues
  • Ability to strike the right balance between both sides, supply and demand
  • Planning Skills/Organised
  • The position requires availability to travel around the UK and limited overseas travel
