A global law firm based in the City of London is looking for an HR Officer to join their team.

Key responsibilities of this include:

  • ER

  • Dealing with day to day queries as they arise

  • Carrying out end of probation review meetings, monitoring probation periods including follow up and performance reviews

  • Managing flexible working requests

  • Coordination of disciplinary/grievance meetings; taking notes or where appropriate running the investigation/hearing

  • Assisting on maternity/adoption, paternity and parental leave processes

  • General

  • Assisting with the review and updating of HR policies

  • Liaising with the Resourcing team on recruitment authorisations

  • Assisting with ad hoc projects

  • Assisting the HR Admins when required

  • Assisting the HRBPs with annual salary review process

  • Managing the co-ordination and preparation of salary review documentation

  • Assisting the HRBP with

This person will:

  • Be a graduate or equivalent and CIPD qualified (or working towards)

  • Proven experience at Adviser/Officer level within professional services

  • Understand employee relations - have experience in this area

  • Have excellent attention to detail

  • Have strong IT skills
