Our client is looking for a commercial HR Business Partner who understands what makes a business tick and can really help drive performance within this special business.

This role will work closely alongside the HR shared service team and the centres of excellence to provide a first class HR service. There will be quite a high volume of ER case work to handle so you should be well versed in handling a wide range of HR work alongside this.

How you will fit into the business…

Working with 4 key client groups within the business across the southern home counties you will be required to have a presence across a number of sites so the ability to travel to them and be visible out in the business is a must.  You must be good with people as stakeholder engagement is a key requirement of this role. As a generalist HR professional, you will be great at what you do and you will know what great looks like too.

We are looking for…

We would like to see HR Business Partners that have worked in large complex organisations and also operate at the top of their game. You don’t need to have sector experience but you should be used to working in an operational environment that has similar demands from HR. If you have worked in retail, hospitality, care or education, manufacturing or logistics, there are likely to be synergies with the way this business works.

You will be a good communicator, a real people person and you will be keen to get on and develop your career in HR. On a technical level you will have strong ER experience (as outlined above) and you will be understanding of current and future trends in HR. You must have a practical knowledge of designing, developing and rolling out new HR initiatives and you should be able to demonstrate evidence of working in a client facing generalist HR role.

You will be able to handle a large personal workload that requires you to balance the delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands-on delivery.
