HR Partner

Ashley Kate HR & Finance are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a leading global distribution firm on a new HR Partner role. Providing services to a wide range of household name and blue chip business across the UK, our client is passionate about developing and retaining their employees and so now want a full time HR Manager to lead the HR function on site and provide true leadership, direction and clear communication.
You will closely with the General Manager the management team on all generalist HR areas. You will be involve in all areas of engagement Employee relations, resourcing, development, performance and reward. You will need to be comfortable operating at a senior level as you will be responsible for developing the people strategy in line with business needs.
You will need to implement and review company wide Learning and development plans and also implement and effective resourcing strategy that will supply the business with quality staff but within appropriate cost parameters.
You will need to be comfortable with analysing data and provide the management team with statistics and reports and ensure that any issues are dealt with in a timely manner. You will need to have a proven background working at a management level and have prior experience of developing a HR people plan from scratch. This is a standalone role so you will need to be a self-starter who has a structured and organised approach to work along with having the ability to build relationships across a wide and diverse workforce.

HR Partner - The Person

·Strong UK Employment Law knowledge is essential.
·Ideally you will have worked within a fast paced environment such as Distribution, logistics, FMCG or manufacturing
·You must have worked in a standalone role and have a proven background is establishing a HR function.
·You will need to have excellent written and communication skills along with the ability to present metrics to senior management.
·You will need to comfortable travelling to sites across the UK as needed.
