Job Details
Morgan McKinley is working with an amazing financial service client to find an Organisation Development Professional to assist with a full re-design of the HR function as well as working with the wider business to consult on internal HR business change programmes.
This would really suit someone coming from a big consultancy practice (Preferably big 4 experience) that has experience doing consultancy work for large matrix-based organisations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Organisational Design and Change
- Provide advice on organisational design / consultancy services drawing on in-depth professional expertise and experience covering:
- Process redesign: baselining, mapping, set up and deployment of surveys with analytical tools, taxonomy, target operating model and metrics design.
- Restructuring: structure redesign, organisational design scenarios, transitioning of people and mobility.
People Plan
- Supports HROD with the implementation of its People Plan, with a focus on communication and engagement across HROD.
- Supports the Director to deliver on key People Plan related OD priorities of organisational design criteria, organisational principles, organisational health check and workforce planning.
- Manipulates the raw OD MI report/ analyse results and form recommendations for circulation.
Relationship Management and Communication
- Coaches / mentors HROD team members who may been assigned as Project Managers on small projects.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant degree, or equivalent experience
- Subject matter expertise in organisational design
- Experience of working in a large multinational consultancy.
- Experience operating on HR transformation projects
- Proven extensive track record of project management, delivering change programmes and organisational design interventions
- Expertise in at least one other specialism, such as business process improvement, change management, systems redesign or implementation, or strategic workforce planning.
