Client Details

This is a Marketing company based in Hertford who are currently looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone who can ideally start at short notice, who has a strong background in HR and can hit the ground running when dealing with complex cases. Ideally they are looking for somebody who has had extensive experience in Employee Relations in particular, who is confident in managing the process from start to finish, reporting and working directly alongside the HR Manager.

Description

As a Senior HR Advisor, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Being involved with all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Deliver excellent service, by supporting the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • Being the first point of contact for all ER related issues, and handling the process from start to finish, providing support to all line managers involved
  • Provide coaching and support to managers to improve their people management skills
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation both within HQ & the field
  • Providing comprehensive advice on complex employee relations scenarios as well general HR guidance to employees and management teams

  • Identifying and initiating policies, processes and procedures; developing them where required, ensuring accurate and commercially sound advice is provided in line with policy and legislation

  • Participation in varied HR project work, working on the introduction of HR initiatives in relation to employee engagement/ reward and recognition/employee retention etc

Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to start within short notice
  • Have a strong background in HR in particular Advisory or Officer roles
  • Have extensive experience within Employee Relations
  • Be confident, with great communication skills
  • Be able to work well within a team
