As part of the transformation, some newly cretaed roles are designed to make a tangible impact on succession planning and talent mobility. As Talent Manager you will sit within a wider team dedicated to all thing's talent and development. You will be business facing, supporting line managers at store level in creating and driving the talent development agenda with the aim of retaining top talent and future proofing the business. One of these roles will have a key focus on the management population, reviewing management development tools and building on these, while the other will focus on the workforce from grad to management level, utilising the apprenticeship levy to look at progression up to management level.
Leading a team of 5, you will review, design and implement new programmes to bridge talent gaps and create development pathways for retail-based team members at varying levels. With diversity at the forefront, you will be creative in utilising the latest technology as well as gamification techniques to develop a high performing workforce, taking into consideration different learning styles.
Keeping up to date with the changing demands of the retail environment, you will adopt a forward thinking approach and take into consideration the future scope of the retail management population.
