My client, a luxury retailer are looking for a L&D Manager to join their team in London. If you enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you!Responsible for executing a development strategy that enhances the skills, knowledge and behaviours of all retail employees, facilitating the achievement of business goals, and building the Brand's culture. The Learning & Development Manager will facilitate training programmes for all store employees and will collaborate with the Retail and HR teams to understand the long-term vision of the company and proactively plan and design programmes that support global and regional training initiatives. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluating all training initiatives to determine ways to improve the learning experienceDesign, Development and Facilitation of training for District Managers, Store Managers and retail employeesWriting materials, including participant workbooks, quick references, facilitator guides and presentation materialsWhere appropriate, identify internal or external subject matter experts to deliver programmesTo provide employees with the skills and capabilities to deliver the business strategyTo ensure a cost effective, high quality learning experienceTo identify new development opportunities in line with strategic goalsTo own, drive and support global initiatives in partnership with colleagues in US/Canada/AsiaProviding specialized/personalized coaching and mentoring for Retail Managers/Teams/ StakeholdersExemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization and act as a role model for others, embodying the Company's core values and traits.Work on special projects with HR team.Establishing and managing quality standards for all programmes, products, and servicesEnhancing all existing retail training initiatives (i.e. sales, service and onboarding), and advising on team and personal development solutionsAssist in the continuous updating and/or redesign of existing online training materials as well as training documentation. REQUIREMENTS: Fast paced international retail environment (essential)Knowledge of a luxury fashion business (desirable)
