You will be a key member of the Leadership Team, working closely with the executive team to deliver business strategy.

Medium sized private organisation.


You will lead on all aspects of people and culture including:

  • Leading the HR Team, function and budgets.
  • Creating and implementing a strategy that will develop organisational culture and ability to attract, retain and develop the best people.
  • Managing talent and acquisition programme.
  • Optimising well-being as well as benefits and service offering.
  • Ensuring operational best practice across all HR functions, processes and policies, including compliance with key regulations and appropriate risk management.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and senior advisor on all things relating to HR, culture and people.
  • Making recommendations and working with relevant business departments to improve employee engagement.
  • Establishing a strong monitoring and evaluation framework, with regular reporting to the Leadership Team against Key Performance Indicators.


Experience and skills required:

  • Experience of leading HR teams and a high performing function.
  • Experience of operating at a Senior / Executive level.
  • Demonstrable commitment to professional development, emerging trends and best practice in HR.
  • Related experience or a strong understanding of how to manage a geographically dispersed workforce - with a willingness to travel when required.
  • Experience of delivering talent acquisition and recruitment programmes.
  • Experience of developing a strong business culture and delivering high quality employee engagement activities.
  • Strong accountability and decision making skills, with the ability to autonomously decide on the best course of action and lead others.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to review existing ways of working and initiate meaningful change.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, developing a deep understanding of the business and maintaining relationships across the company.
