Regional HR Manager

£35,000 – £40,000 dependent on experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen with Hand Picked Hotels for a Full Time Regional HR Manager to join the team. This position will be based at Rhinefield House Hotel in Brockenhurst Hampshire and will cover the following hotels: 

  • Audleys Wood Hotel, Basingstoke Hampshire
  • Bailbrook House, Bath, Somerset
  • Rhinefield House Hotel, Brockenhurst Hampshire
  • Woodlands Park, Cobham, Surrey

Purpose of a Regional HR Manager:

To provide a professional, commercial and effective HR service across the Region, limiting business risks through the application of legal knowledge and Company Procedures.

Responsibilities of a Regional HR Manager:

  • Management responsibility for the HR team within the region
  • Developing and coaching Heads of Department in the use of effective people management skills
  • Monitoring hotel and departmental performance against our Employee Charter, taking action to address any shortfalls
  • Providing practical guidance and support to managers in employment related matters
  • Initiating and driving activities to further enhance the employee experience
  • Direct delivery of HR related management training programmes
  • Leading Recruitment and Selection activities within the region
  • Developing solutions to address local HR needs
  • Accountability for timely, accurate and compliant administrational processes, records and reporting

Requirements of a Regional HR Manager: 

  • Proven track record in HR management, in the hospitality or retail sector, preferably multisite
  • Experienced in managing a small number of direct reports.
  • Sound working knowledge of employment legislation
  • Strong influencing ability
  • Exceptional organisational skills 
  • Ability to travel between Hotels in this region
