Head of Diversity and Inclusion job paying £55,000- £60,000, 6 months FTC.

You will be working a leading University located in Central London.
Your new role
As interim Head of Diversity and Inclusion you will be expected to play a critical role in achieving the equality, diversity and inclusion objectives, fundamental to the ethos of the university. You will be required to work in partnership with several stakeholders across the University to influence strategic planning, design and delivery of their EDI objectives to ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion are embedded in everyday work life. You will provide oversight and leadership for local and institutional diversity strategies to progress the EDI agenda.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a track record in improving and implementing effective EDI strategies. Specifically, you will demonstrate knowledge and working experience of raising the profile of equality and diversity through commissioning and training. Previous experience working within Higher Education is highly desirable for this role as you will be required to be familiar with HE Charters. You will also have experience managing a EDI team. As an individual you will be passionate about Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and this will be demonstrated in your pro activeness and ability to influence and education stakeholders and employees. You will be required to start by mid July so you must be immediately available or on a one week notice period.
