About you
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following skills/experience -
·Demonstrable experience working in a similar role within a complex matrix organisation
·Understanding and experience of internal communications techniques and systems
·Excellent written and verbal communications skills
·Well organised with strong time management ability
·Previous experience of event and project support
·Previous experience of change management (beneficial)
·Previous experience within a unionised environment (beneficial)
·Ability to use digital technology e.g. video camera

About the role
·To be a trusted communications advisor, providing the MD unit with first class support in bringing the brand and business strategy to life.
·Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of internal communications from planning and advice to compelling narrative and engagement support
·Ensure internal communications are co-ordinated and deliver a consistent message across all audiences working closely with both the People team and the central Internal Communications team.
·Be a key member of the People team, using your knowledge and influence to raise the bar on how our leaders and employee communicate
