This HR Officer position based in Greenford is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to support a leading British Logistics company.

Client Details

This is a third party Logistics company based in Greenford and boasts over 15,000 employees in over 150 sites. They are looking for someone with Generalist experience and strong knowledge of employment legislation.

Description

The key duties of this HR Officer include but are not limited to:

Contribute towards the improvement of processes and methods of operating practices within the depot

Ensure practices are carried out in line with changes in legislation

Ensure all policies and procedures are followed in line with local terms

Assist Line Managers on the interpretation of company policies and procedures

Assist in the coaching, mentoring and development of the management team

Management of sickness reporting any anomalies to the Site Senior Managers

Prepare statistical breakdowns. Inc. analysis of sickness/absence and holidays

Assist in disciplinary hearings, as well as advising on legislative and company policy and procedures

Support in delivering the HR plan for the year

Active involvement in all colleague engagement initiatives

Ensure accurate operation of Oracle HR and Kronos and other applicable systems

Profile

You as the successful candidate for this HR Officer role has:

Minimum 2 year's HR administration experience

A recognised HR qualification (desirable)

Competent knowledge of employment law

Previous experience of absence management

Previous experience of Oracle HR (desirable)

Ability to plan and prioritise workload, working under pressure to tight deadlines

Experience of supporting colleagues back to the work place from sickness
