Job Details
This HR Consultant will be utilising their specialist knowledge and expertise in order to provide pragmatic and
effective advice to a number of schools, in respect of teaching staff and schools support.
The position will be based in Kingston and you MUST have practical experience working with schools.

Description
The key responsibilities of this HR Consultant include (but are not limited to):
Deliver high quality HR advice and services, engaging and building relationships with a range of stakeholders
Deliver HR Projects that work towards fulfilling specific strategies and objectives
Ensure that work and projects are delivered within agreed resources
Assist with budget/resource management in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
Undertake tasks around performance management
Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
Potentially have to manage TUPE processes
Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
Assess data in technical areas and present results with any recommendations that could support decision making
Profile
The successful candidate MUST have practical experience in the use and application of policy and practice to casework within Schools. Alongside this, you will need:
EXPERIENCE
Experience advising on teachers pay and conditions
CIPD qualified to postgraduate level (or equivalent experience)
Holds a relevant technical qualification at Degree or Higher National Diploma/Certificate level
Practical or professional experience and understanding of a specialist area, or supporting service teams
Worked with computerised business systems
SKILLS
Ability to communicate relevant HR and employment law / education policy changes and issues to schools
Ability to use initiative to work independently and flexibly when required
Proven communication skills with stakeholders of all levels
Ability to apply project management principles and techniques to manage a range of projects from start to finish
Very organised and able to plan for months ahead at a time

36 hours per week (part time options are open to discussion)
