People and Culture ManagerMy client is a renowned retailing brand who are looking to hire a People and Culture Manager to join their friendly team on a fixed term contract basis. This role will be working closely with the Store Manager and in-store P&C team.The main focus of the successful People and Culture Manager will be to drive the people agenda in store, build strong working relationships across the client group, as well as manage all generalist HR needs.Key responsibilities include:Identify and drive the people agenda, ensuring people and culture plans are aligned with business cultureWork closely with your client group colleagues and line managers to deliver the people plan and cultureShare strategies with other Business Partners to create best practice and leverage organisational gainsManage and advise on ER issues as requiredOversee and advise on the recruitment processAdvise on a positive learning & development culture within the store, delivering consistent feedback and appraisalsMonitor performance management from floor staff to line managementSupport the team on monthly Payroll as and when neededEssential knowledge, skills and experience:Experience in Retail or similar industryExperience at Advisor or BP level working with a large client groupCIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualificationComfortable in a fast paced and changing environmentStrong consultative skills and highly effective in communicating clearlyThe ability to influence at all levelsPassionate about peopleEnergetic, driven and determined to deliverAbility to engage and influence at all levelsDue to the nature of working closely with the store, the successful People and Culture Manager will work various shift patterns to suit the business needs, including some weekends.
