Head of Talent and Recruitment

My client operates in the heart of the community playing an integral role in the lives of thousands of Londoners and world leading in their field as a specialist service. This is an exciting opportunity to join their organisation as Head of Talent and Recruitment.

As Head of Talent and Recruitment you will develop and lead on a new Talent and Recruitment strategy for the organisation. Supporting client groups and key senior stakeholders you will design and implement recruitment initiatives to ensure talent plays a key part in the overall resourcing strategy and associated polices and approaches. With a fresh and creative approach you will work with key internal and external stakeholders to agree new resourcing and talent management plans for operational and non-operational employees. You will design, develop and implement a new approach to succession planning that will align with the organisations performance management framework and provide talent pipelines that will improve attrition across the organisation.

Supported by a Recruitment Manager and a Talent Manager you will assess the bigger picture of talent and recruitment, identifying, assessing and developing talented individual combined with leadership development. Developing comprehensive plans around resourcing that include apprenticeships, cadets and emerging talent. As a one of the key drivers of diversity and inclusion within the organisation you will lead on this from a talent and recruitment prospective insuring that processes are in place to continue to drive an inclusive workforce.

To be successful in this role you will have experience working at senior level within talent and recruitment. You will have developed and lead on a successful recruitment and talent strategy and will have line managed a recruitment function within a large and complex organisation. You will be able to evidence your experience creating competency based development and assessment programmes. You will have ideally implemented D&I recruitment policies or be able to demonstrate your understanding of the importance of this within you work and behavior. A team player who can motivate and drive a team is key, approaching with a open mind and intellectual rigor you will develop original ideas and practical solutions. This role requires a CIPD or equivalent qualification.

Location: London

Salary: £60,000 - £74,000
