This organisation are a relatively newly formed property developer, looking for an HR Manager on a 6 Month FTC (reporting into a Head of HR). There is also an HR Advisor in the team who supports across various different HR projects. They have a great culture, and are known as a property developer that works closely with communities to regenerate areas, and really improve communities for local residents. This is broad ranging- from retail spaces, residential buildings and commercial developments, and currently employee circa 100

This person must be a generalist but with strengths in particular around Reward + data, payroll (including managing external relationships). You must be available at short notice (less than 2 weeks) or immediately available to be considered- perhaps have worked in another small business where you are used to covering the full generalist remit but have had a focus on Payroll and running that for the organisation (they use ADP, and it is done monthly)


The role will include, but not be limited to:


Reward administration

- To manage the annual discretionary bonus review process and adhoc bonus processes as required (this happens in April, however you will be involved in the process)
- To support the long term incentive plan annual cycle
- To manage the annual salary review process and annual salary survey submission.
- To manage benefit renewal processes in conjunction with the Head of HR, including risk benefits and private medical insurance.

Payroll
- To lead on the monthly payroll processes for the group
- To manage statutory processes including P11D and P60 reporting.
- To administer and lead as required on auto-enrolment pension responsibilities, pension governance and relationship management with Capita.
- To administer the annual leave carry over process and pro-rating of part time bank holiday allowances
- To provide support and contribute to annual financial reporting processes such as remuneration report and gender pay reporting.

Generalist HR

- To provide first line professional, comprehensive and timely advice to managers and staff on a range of general HR queries, alongside the Head of HR and HR Advisor
- To provide comprehensive support to all generalist HR activities; including on-boarding, resourcing, terminations, employee relation and performance management
System management and reporting
- To be an expert user on the HR and payroll system (ADP iHCM); ensuring the system is functioning effectively and is being used appropriately across the business
-Support an environment with relatively young managers, to improve leadership management capability
- To carry out regular reporting, including quarterly absence and headcount reporting
- Adhoc reporting as needed

Other
- To support and lead as required on project work across the HR team, as required.
- To carry out any other duties reasonably expected with the general level of the role
