Hays HR are recruiting for a large organisation in Sheffield to join them on a temporary basis for 2 -3 months. Working within the public sector you will support senior staff in providing employee relations advice on terms and conditions of service and related workforce initiatives.
Your new role
Your job role will include providing timely, consistent and appropriate advice and support for managers on a range of employee relations matters. This will include disciplinary, grievance, sickness and attendance, capability and bully and harassment. You will assist managers in suspension meetings and support the investigations. You will also support in reducing sickness absence across the company.
What you'll need to succeed
To apply for this role you will ideally be CIPD qualified or possess a significant amount of HR experience. You must have proven experience in the management and resolution of employee relations issues such as sickness absence, discipline, grievance and capability. Ideally you will have NHS experience or have worked within the public sector in a unionised environment.
