Job Details
As the independent regulator of general and vocational qualifications in England, Ofqual’s job is to maintain standards, to make sure that qualifications accurately reflect the knowledge and skills people need to achieve their goals.
Over the last nine years, general qualifications in England – GCSEs, AS and A levels – have been overhauled to ensure that they compare with the best in the world. Technical qualifications and apprenticeships are now undergoing a similar programme of reform, with the introduction of the new T Levels in 2020 at the forefront of this.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Manager to join our HR team and act as the Deputy to the Associate Director of HR, L&D and Facilities. You will be responsible for leading and managing the Resourcing and Learning & Development teams.
This role will require you to have broad generalist HR skills, with a demonstrable record of accomplishment of developing and implementing HR Initiatives to support organisational strategy and have a ‘hands on’ approach when the need arises.
You will be an inspiring leader who leads by example and enthusiasm that will motivate your team to deliver excellent services across the organisation.
It is essential that you are MCIPD qualified, organised and have the ability to work flexibly and pragmatically as well as driving the strategy.
