Talent Acquisition Partner

Central London

Oakleaf are proud to be partnering with this very well-established retail brand who are currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner within their Retail division.

As part of their in-house talent team you will be a true recruitment partner to the brands retail teams and be accountable for the engaging, sourcing and hiring of top talent for our Retail management vacancies across our stores.

Key responsibilities

* Working closely with the Brands to identify their requirements and help to fulfil their recruitment needs as quickly as possible

* Partnering with Area & Store Managers and Retail HR teams to understand the positions and ideal candidate profiles advising on recruitment processes and best practice

* Communicating with key internal stakeholders so that they are aware of all recruitment activity

* Utilising internal database, advertising, cutting edge social sourcing, a variety of headhunting techniques and personal candidate networks to source top talent in Retail Management

* To own the end to end process, ensuring there is consistency but also local variations where needed

* Connecting the dots between candidates, Hiring Managers and HR for each vacancy ensuring a smooth end to end hiring process and strong working relationships

* Proactively networking with passive candidates, continuously mapping competitors and top industry talent to build pipelines

* Focused on hiring Retail Management talent through direct sourcing where possible, delivering personal KPI's and recruitment targets

* Juggling multiple vacancies and prioritising business critical roles ensuring clear and transparent communication with candidates and Hiring Managers alike

* Coordinating interviews as required

* Supporting on hiring for Head Office and specialist roles for International markets where required.

* Elevating the candidate experience through all touchpoints in the process from screening to hire

* Understanding the Retail competitive landscape and talent pools, developing new and innovative ways of engaging and attracting this talent

* Understanding and tapping into candidate motivations ensuring offers are secured

* Supporting all new store openings and store closures from recruitment perspective

* Working collaboratively with the wider talent team you will ensure all retail recruitment tools, including job advertisements and recruitment packs acurately reflect the nature of the role, the working environment and help identify top talent internally and externally

* Maintaining retail data reporting and tracking metrics

* Partnering with our PSL recruitment agencies where necessary, and building strong relationships

* Flexibility to travel work across a variety of locations when required

Key requirements

* Solid experience in recruitment either in-house or agency with a genuine passion for the retail industry, experience working wih retail across a range of locations would be an advantage

* Multi-tasking prowess with the ability to manage 20+ vacancies efficiently

* Expertise in building strong relationships across multiple teams internally and externally

* Skilled in social recruiting with expert sourcing techniques across a variety of channels

* A sense of urgency and pace with a delivery focus

* Target driven yet able to balance this with offering unrivalled candidate experiences, stakeholder management and influencing skills

* Confident, polished communicator and influencer with a team player attitude

* Ability to influence Hiring Managers and hiring decisions and advise on best practice to deliver results

* A finger on the pulse of the Retail market and Retail Management candidate's motivations and drivers

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 + notable benefits!
