Hays HR are recruiting for the position of HR Employee Relations & Information Systems Manager for our client; A Manufacturer based in Cwmbran. Please note this is a 12 Month FTC Contract
Your new role
To form a trusted partnership relationship and support the business requirements for your area of responsibility; providing advice, guidance and challenge to the management team with regards to all people processes. Support and ensure HR best practice and ensure consistency in application of the people policies across the business. Provide a first class service to your partnership area, enabling progression, change and agility to meet the demands of the business. Responsible for the development and integration of HRMS and associated projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Member of CIPD or equivalent HR qualification Very strong practical experience of managing high volume employee relations activity, including appeals, complex disciplinary and grievances, ACAS conciliation negotiations and employment tribunal processes. Previous experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Flexible, proactive, supportive, confident and crucially, a team player. Experience and working knowledge of data entry and MI reporting from HR systems such as ADP / SAP / Oracle / Success factors. Strong, up to date knowledge of employment law and ER processes and procedures in line with the ACAS code of practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to build strong working relationships. Experience of managing a team, identifying and supporting individual development Demonstrable experience of consulting with employee forums / councils / Unions
