Page Personnel are working with a well-established manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Bradford, who are actively seeking a HR Officer to add value to their HR function. This will be a fast-paced and varied role overseeing the transactional and operational HR functions including E.R case management, processing starters and leavers and assisting in recruitment campaigns.

Description

In a fast-paced and varied HR Officer role on the outskirts of Bradford, roles and responsibilities of the HR Officer will include:

  • Answering queries on all HR related policies and procedures as first point of contact for employees
  • Work with line managers in the business to assess needs and design, deliver and evaluate HR initiatives that enable them to achieve their business objectives
  • Responsible for dealing with case work in times of high activity (eg joiner/leaver/contractual changes/maternity/leave/short term assignments, work experience)
  • To oversee the administration of the appraisal / performance management process, liaising with managers to ensure that they are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Oversee, the maintenance and development of a computerised HR database, providing training to staff and managers in its use

Profile

Good working knowledge of employment law legislation

Demonstrable ability to manage complex E.R cases at high volume

Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritise and plan own work activities to use time effectively

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

CIPD qualified preferred
