GDPR Consultant

Ashley Kate HR are working with a well respected charity who are looking for a GDPR Manager to join the team. As the GDPR lead you will be the central point of contact and referral for all aspects of GDPR and data matters. Reporting to the CEO and FD you will be home based but will need to travel to the head office in London as needed. We are looking for a quick start with this opportunity and the salary is between £40k-£45k.
You will be the main point of referral for the business in regards to the protection of personal data, and be responsible for creating and maintaining Data Protection policies.
You will monitoring compliance within GDPR and other data protection law and be responsible for GDPR and other data protection laws awareness-raising and training team members
Other Key responsibilities.
·Responsible for data privacy
·Privacy Policy maintenance
·Responsibility for maintenance of Data Processing Agreements
·Data Protection contract reviews
·Creating reports for Directors or the Board of Data Protection oversight and risks
·Bring innovative ideas to the business in regards to protecting customer data
·Work closely with the Compliance and Legal team on data protection matters
Key Skills
·Data Protection within an regulated environment
·In-depth understanding of GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018 framework
·Ability to build strong working relationships
