Payroll Administrator - £35K-£40k + Bonus & Benefits - West End

The UK's leading HR Recruitment Consultancy seek an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their Finance Team and head up their payroll offering.

Reporting into the Finance Director you will be the subject matter expert for all payroll queries and look to run, drive and own this payroll offering outright along with Accounting responsibilities.

This role will include:

Temporary 2 Week Payroll:

Check that the necessary documents are held to ensure the temp is compliant

Collate temps timesheets from In Time and RPO websites

Use Sage 50 payroll for processing hours worked

Check auto enrolment pension calculations

Calculate pension deferment dates

Upload net pay values to the banking system, issue payslips and P45s

Respond to queries from temps on pay related matters

Company Monthly Payroll:

Collate salary changes throughout the month and commissions and bonuses payable

Collate staff expense forms for processing on Sage 50 payroll

Calculate leavers and starters pay and update the salary control spreadsheet

Enter data onto Sage 50 payroll, and reconcile to control spreadsheet

Upload to the banking system

Issue payslips and P45s and deal with queries

Issue salary sacrifice letters

FPS/year end submissions

Co-ordinate staff private health insurance matters

Liaise with childcare voucher providers

P11d preparation and submission

In addition to the above skill set and experience you will need:

Strong communication skill set internal and external

to take ownership of this payroll offering: Run, drive and own

High levels of attention to detail

Sage Payroll and Line 50 experience

Strong Excel (V Look Ups & Pivot Tables)

The ability to look at something and know when it's not right

Ability to push back and make your case

Team player
