What will be keeping you busy?

Eighty percent of your time will be spent on managing the internal recruitment team and on operational improvement. The remaining twenty percent will be devoted to filling roles (you are likely to have more involvement with senior hires).

You will develop direct sourcing strategies that will enable the attraction of more passive jobseekers into the business. You will also create a first class candidate experience and act as a true business partner to help meet strategic objectives.

Who are we looking for?

Whilst you will have 4 direct reports, you do not need prior line management experience. There'll be plenty of support in developing your management skills. The client would like to see people that have worked in-house and if you also have some prior agency experience that would be no bad thing as you will be used to working at pace.

If you have held good operational and hands-on recruitment experience and know what good looks like, we would like to hear from you. You don’t have to have led a recruitment function previously so this role would make a great stepping stone.

You will be someone with a genuine interest in the future of recruitment. The business is not ready to adopt AI for interview purposes, but they would like someone that is interested in this sort of thing and can drive innovation.

Industry experience is not important. If you have worked in a retail, creative or technology focused environment, great, but more important than anything is attitude and potential.
