Payroll, Pension & Benefits Specialist
I am delighted to work with an expanding professional services organisation to recruit a Payroll, Pensions & Benefits Specialist in Cheltenham on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and vibrant firm with exciting growth plans and opportunities to take on more responsibility.
This is an extremely varied and broad role in which you will be the point of contact for any payroll, pensions or benefits related queries from the business, working closely with both the finance and HR teams. You will be responsible for processing the UK monthly payroll including amendments, starters, leavers, maternity leave, contract changes, deductions and tax code changes. You will also process the payroll journals.
You will liaise with vendors, brokers, HR and Finance in relation to the supply and renewal of benefits and be responsible for processing all adjustments relating to the flex benefits scheme including pensions, childcare vouchers and the bike to work scheme. You will undertake annual salary benchmarking activities and produce a report for senior leadership. You will prepare and submit monthly and annual returns to the firm's pension providers and HMRC and produce firm's annual P11d and P60 documents.
In order to be successful in your application you will need strong inhouse payroll experience including working with an outsourced payroll supplier. This experience will ideally be gained within a partnership or professional services organisation. You have experience salary benchmarking and utilising compensation tools. You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and are comfortable dealing with all levels of an organisation. You have excellent excel skills, attention to detail and accuracy. You are comfortable working independently, you are highly organised and focused on improved efficiencies.
