Ashley Kate are pleased to be partnering with a large scale organisation on a new HR Business Partner role. Due to a recent transformation project the company is increasing the numbers in their team so that they can truly offer a people centric offering.
You will be working with Senior stakeholder in terms of supporting their business units and so you will be comfortable with building relationships at Director level and truly influencing the people strategy.


HR Business Partner - The role.
·You will understand the business strategy and support the people agenda for the UK to support its delivery
·Provide guidance, advice and coaching to managers on general human resources issues such as organisational design, recruitment and selection, performance management, remuneration and benefits
·Proactively manage stakeholders and form strong, influential working relationships
·Work with managers to advise on and apply policies consistently and fairly
·Guide and advise managers on performance management and work with them to develop appropriate solutions, including handling disciplinary and grievance advice and support
·Managing and meeting recruitment needs within agreed time-lines
·Implement good change management practices. Identifies barriers and potential risks to implementation. Deliver business change through effective planning and stakeholder management
·Working with data to provide solid analytics to the business to support decisions which impact and improve performance.
·Works with the business to lead on the employee engagement survey for the unit and supports managers to identify and implement actions
·Works with the business to build a high performance culture and coaches people managers and leaders on strategies for nurturing their talent, development of their people and tackling team and individual performance issues.
·Works with the business unit on talent identification, development and coaching and the end to end performance review process including the facilitation of levelling and succession planning.
·Supports effective delivery of reward and recognition programmes including managing pay and bonus reviews, ensuring consistency. Guides people managers on the pay review process. Advises people managers on promotion increases and retention strategies.
·Works proactively with other HR colleagues to share learning, best practice and drive efficiency. Proactively investigates existing practice before starting work on new initiatives.

HR Business Partner - Skills
·Strong generalist Human Resources experience coupled with strong commercial awareness
·Experience in a large, fast paced environment preferred
·A relevant qualification in HRM or related discipline or work
·Able to influence colleagues and managers
·Knowledge of people management theory and practice such as organisational design, recruitment and selection, performance management, remuneration and benefits, OHS and general industrial/employee relations
