Head of Learning & Development

We have been retained by a leading international professional services firm to appoint their Head of Learning & Development, based in Birmingham. As a recognised, and respected brand in their sector this firm is a formal partnership, operating across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The role will lead a team of half a dozen learning professionals based across the UK, and the function supports the European, Middle East and Asian business.

Reporting to the HR Director, this role will work strategically to enhance the impact and proposition of learning within the firm, supporting and developing employees from the most junior to senior. Whilst the larger part of learning delivery is facilitated by external providers, there will be occasions when there be a requirement for the successful individual to deliver themselves. The L&D function support the business with a range of learning solutions, which are derived from the firms People Strategy. The role will require travel across the UK and internationally, but equally offer the ability to work flexibly.

As an experienced L&D professional, you will have led teams, ideally have worked within an international partnership or professional services firm and be able to demonstrate a commercially savvy approach to development. The opportunity will offer the chance to enhance an established learning function and broaden its international reach.
