Learning and Development Business Partner

Your new role

You will be a learning expert across the business supporting and guiding managers and team members to improve performance to meet business objectives through coaching and training, face to face and online.

Key responsibilities will include:

Support workplace performance; coaching and providing guidance to managers and team members Plan, design, deliver and evaluate training sessions to meet stakeholder and business requirements
Manage the Apprenticeship programmes and relationships with supplier
Co-ordinate and facilitate the induction working with the presenters to keep the content engaging and up-to-date
Provide an end to end L&D service, sending JI's, maintaining training records, co-coordinating eLearning and evaluating the impact of investment
Procure training in line with business needs where budget is allocated
Co-ordinate the Appraisal cycle and produce Directorate Development Plans to meet performance objectives
Engage users to embed and use the Learning Management System to provide eLearning
Deliver projects and key talent initiatives as part of the organisation's transformation agenda

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 2-3 years' experience
  • Degree level or CIPD qualified
  • Self-starter with a bias for action, able to respond and adapt to a demanding and dynamic environment
  • Ability to plan, analyse and evaluate activities to achieve objectives and see projects through to completion
  • Knowledge of L&D current thinking and trends
  • Experience in design delivery and facilitation of bespoke training to meet business needs
  • Demonstrable skills in influencing and coaching line management in good L&D methods and processes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and highly articulate and confident dealing with people at all levels
  • Be able to create and implement digital content and blended learning solutions
  • Manage L&D projects
  • Passion to continuously learn and develop
