HR Manager job available in Manchester centre on a 10 month fixed term contract

We are looking to recruit for a client who is a charity based in Manchester city centre who are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join them on a fixed-term contract.


Your new role
Reporting into the Head of HR you will be responsible for providing support to a wide range of employees from their head office function in the city centre. The organisation is not for the profit charity sector and is a complex environment with employees who are based in a number of different locations globally (travel not required). You will act as a business partner to the employees and you will be required to support the companies values and goals. You will be responsible for delivering operational HR services and advice across a variety of employment issues and complex situations which will also include safeguarding cases. The role comes with the responsibility of managing a more junior level HR person within the team and you will guide and support them as well as develop them on their career journey. The role will be required to provide a high level of employee relations support and therefore candidates must be highly experienced in this area and used to working in a really fast-paced busy environment. As well as providing ER support you will also be required to update and maintain and develop HR policies and strategic projects.




What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a highly experienced HR candidate who has gained significant experience dealing with complex ER case loads.
Must be comfortable working in a less structured really busy and fast paced environment.
Experience of managing a more junior member of staff
Must have really good experience and knowledge of end to end recruitment processes as the organisation does have high levels of recruitment.
